Jesus the Prince of Peace: Part 1 – Christ will Bring Peace to the World
We live in dark days, in a world that is out of control. We may be tempted to despair, but we must not. In fact, Jesus Christ tells us to not let our hearts be troubled. How can we remain at peace while the whole world is at War and full of hatred? Every Christian who reads his Bible knows that Jesus is coming again to conquer Satan and those who choose to follow him. He is coming to establish a new heaven and a new earth. As Isaiah says, The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. His government and its peace will never end. He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David for all eternity. The passionate commitment of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies will make this happen! This Christmas we reflect on this glorious reality.
