Thankful: Part 4 Cry Out To Jesus
We need the Thanksgiving season. It jolts us out of our self-absorption which comes in many forms: guilt, entitlement, manipulating others, never being able to say you’re sorry, inability to let go of anger, brooding, fears, anxiety, greed. When it’s “all about me,” I can’t be grateful. Gratitude requires an open heart focused on God and His kindnesses. It is, therefore, possibly the most spiritual celebration of the year. Let’s open our hearts to the Father who continues to prove His love for us.
