Living Worry-Free: Part 1 – Defeating Anxiety
  -

We live in anxious times. Today, anxiety is called a mental health condition. It can cause feelings of worry, fear, or tension. For some people, anxiety can also cause panic attacks and physical symptoms like chest pain. It may surprise you, however, to learn that all humans have always lived in anxious times. Our Lord Jesus himself addressed this very thing in His Sermon on the Mount. He offered the best life-advice ever given: Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and God will give you everything you need. This summer we will study Matthew 6:33 in depth and learn what it means to live a worry-free life. It begins with understanding what makes us worry and why we shouldn’t worry. Worrying is not merely a quirky personality trait. Worrying is what pagans do. Trusting God is what Christians do.
